We are procrastinators and so this means that we wait until the last possible day to carve our pumpkin.
Honestly, everyone really should follow our example. There would be less moldy pumpkins on Halloween if everyone was a procrastinator. Just sayin’.

THE PUMPKIN
Beautiful, shiny, orange goodness.
Except for that large wart on the front! How did we miss this?
Hubby is great at cleaning and carving the pumpkin, so this is his yearly job.

This is what Cayd does during the pumpkin gut elimination. He just can’t watch.
Cole on the other hand….
… is simply amazed all of that comes out of pumpkin.
That’s his look of amazement. In case you were wondering.
Molly takes her usual place. On the kitchen floor. Watching intently for any stray pumpkin seed that may decide to take the plunge and land on the floor so she can gobble it up.
The boys pick out a design from the pumpkin carving kit. A great purchase from Goodwill! Who knew?
Hubby spends 45 minutes carving while I put the boys to bed because it’s already 30 minutes past their bedtime! They’ll have to wait until the morning to see this…
It’s EVIL WART PUMPKIN… Moo ha ha ha ha!!
